João Brito Joins Critical Ventures as Venture Partner

João Brito is joining Critical Ventures team as Venture Partner.

João joins the team after working for more than 25 years running critical systems engineering divisions in markets like space, aerospace, defense, railway, automotive, medical and science, where failing is not an option!

João studied at Carnegie Mellon University and has spent his career at the intersection of safety-critical engineering and the commercial relationships that make it work at scale, exactly where Critical Ventures supports its portfolio companies gaining speed to market and scaling.

João's primary goal is supporting on active engagements with specific portfolio companies, helping them accelerate product and market growth.

He'll draw on the relationships he has built with core players across critical systems industries over his career as well as supporting the management team on specific investment opportunities.

His market and technical expertise put him in a good position also to stress-test deals alongside our Tech Board, particularly where the underlying technology touches safety-critical or highly regulated systems.

The goal is also to accelerate and build a closer operations and sales relationship between all our members of our ecosystem.
